  I had Enrique from Ledezma Ornamental make a fence for me a couple of years ago. I was happy with the quality of the work so I had him make a wood/iron gate for me in 2015. After about 6 months, the clear varnish began to peel. Next time I needed wood gates, I had someone else build them, but I decided to give Ledezma Ornamental another chance by having Enrique do the metal work on the new gates in 2016. When I called Enrique he showed up with a guy named Frank. Frank was a smooth talking salesman with excellent English, so he did all the talking. I explained that I wanted a copper trim around the entire perimeter of the gate. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they said it would not be a problem. I gave them a $500 deposit. I also showed them Enrique's 1 year old gate with the varnish peeling off. Frank apologized and said they would sand down the old gate free of charge and pay for someone to stain it again. Enrique and Frank came back a few weeks later to put on the copper trim. Halfway through, the work looked so bad that Frank and Enrique agreed they needed to start all over. I told them that instead of doing the whole perimeter, they could just do a copper cap on top of the gates. They agreed and began peeling off the copper but left half of it on. They said they would come back later that day to finish the job, but they never came back. I emailed and called them several times and got no response. When I called from a different phone number, Frank answered immediately and then apologized profusely. He agreed to come out the next day but again they never showed up and never bothered to call or respond to my emails. I don’t know if Enrique would knows that Frank never gave back my $500 deposit, but it appears that Frank is now in charge of Enrique. I had to pay hundreds of dollars to have a contractor remove the rest of the copper and refinish my gates. I also had to replace Enrique’s gate from 2015 because it would have been to expensive to have it sanded and refinished and to replace the rusting hardware.
