  I have been a loyal customer to Party Productions for about 8 years. They have been there for every celebration for my family and friends. Every time, I never left unsatisfied. They always came thru with everything that was asked of them and everything was always so beautiful so it was a no brainer when I decided to go to them for one of the most important celebrations of my life- my engagement party. I went in on Monday and after talking to the staff, I felt good about my purchase and planned to come and buy more later on this weekend with my fiancé. She had helped me pick out the perfect piñata for my party and was very friendly. I left satisfied and content with my purchase. I came from a long distance just to this one store because I was always happy with their service and party selections. They are a bit pricey compared to other stores but that wasn't an issue for me because I was loyal to my favorite story.
  Then life happened, and we had to unexpectedly cancel the party and put it on hold due to some personal family reasons and every other store,company, caterers,etc was very understanding and I had no problems with the cancellations or refunds until I called Party Productions. Keep in mind, I had just purchased the piñata less than 24 hours when I had called to cancel. The same very nice lady who had helped me the day prior, had picked up the phone. I explained my situation to her and that's when I noticed that they weren't at all what I had talked them up to be. She was very unapologetic to my situation and informed me that they don't issue refunds. I had explained to her that I made this purchase just the day before and it hadn't even cleared thru my bank yet and she proceeded to tell me that they can give me store credit. Mind you, my purchase was $70! If it was like $10, maybe but $70 of store credit was just insane to me. I had explained to her that the party is on hold indefinitely and she proceeded to tell me the store credit won't expire and that I can always give it to my family or friends to use. Her lack of emotion was absurd to me. I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing. I mentioned that I live far away and I wouldn't be returning to the store and she continued, no surprise, to tell me that she can't give me a refund, just store credit. It was truly mind blowing the kind of service I received. It's wrong to not give someone their hard earned money back and it's worse when they don't really care, they simply just sound like a broken record and just proceed to tell you the same thing over and over again. Not once throughout the phone call did she apologize for the inconvenience, she just kept saying that I can use it for something else in store. I tried getting a hold of the owner, Javier, multiple times and every time I call, I get the run around. It's unfortunate because I have shelled out so much money and business to this company. I am honestly so glad I didn't make any other purchases that day, like I was going to, because I would have been $200+ short of money and all of that would have been refused for a refund and put on a store credit. That's not a way to make business, or get customers or even keep the ones that they've had for a while. Extremely disappointed in them and I won't be recommending this establishment anymore. It's upsetting that they refuse to come to a conclusion and only care about the money and making sales. Unfortunately, my hard earned money has to be spent here due to the refusal of my refund. Never again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else and I have already notified everyone that I have to not use them anymore because they won't be there for you as you are with them. Horrible customer service and a very horrible experience. This establishment once earned a 5 star rating but now has earned a rating below zero if it were possible. You would get better service at a hole in the wall business than this. Extremely unacceptable.
